Vancouver was supposed to be rocking their socks off with DJ AM this evening but unfortunitly the show has been put on hold so our fine city is all pumped up to party with nowhere to go. Might I suggest checking a new night called Naked Thursday’s atStone Temple if you are in the neigborhood and want to get wild. Schitz Popinov Dj’s are doing a guest spot to help launch the brand new night.
N.A.S.A – The Mayor ( f. The Cool Kids, Ghostface Killah, Scarface & DJ AM)
This past week we have had Steve Aoki roll through Van and as per usual the whole club shook.
Steve Aoki @ Celebrities
SPA – Pets Dance (Steve Aoki Remix)

Great shot of Steve with some ladies, but who is that JACKASS standing behind the girls??
And a few new jams that are getting some heavy play lately……..
Fischerspooner – Danse En France (D.I.M. Remix)
The Prodigy – Invaders Must Die (DAN OH remix)
La Roux – In For The Kill (Hostage Remix)
Speaking of this last track here. Hostage’s mix is sick but Annie Mac first turned me onto ‘In For The Kill’ a few weeks back when she played the Skream edit. Then again, pretty much everything Annie Mac does turns me on. Rowwwllll…..

George Lenton sent over a really dope Dub step remix of MGMT’s Weekend Wars. I wasn’t familiar with his work but changed that after hearing the remix. He has some really quality work and has had some rotation on BBC Radio 1. Enjoi these ones….they irie….
MGMT – Weekend Wars (George Lenton Dub Remix)
Yelle – Je Veux Te Voir (George Lenton Rmx)
Speakin of hot boxes….how ill is this one???

This came in the ol “inBoxinov” as Hawk∑ye would put it this morning…. 607 adds some vocals over top of Crookers’ new banger. Ants in My Trance does a pretty good write up about the track.
Crookers – What up Y’all (607 Freestyle)
Wu-Tang remix of the classic C.R.E.A.M. done by Daze of Thunder
Wu-Tang Clan – C.R.E.A.M (Daze of Thunder Remix)

Tags: Alan Braxe

One of the most influential producers of electronic music is coming to Vancouver and we have two pairs of tickets to give away. Thats right we shure doooo…keep reading to find out how to win. Alan Braxe is recognized as a key component in the French electronic music scene. His most obvious achievment is the massive collabortion with none other than Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk fame and Benjamin Diamond on the track “Music Sounds Better With You”.
Stardust – Music Sounds Better With You (Juxx Remix)
That was 11 years ago and since then Alan Braxe has dominated the worlds studios and clubs. His remix catalogue is unparalleled and while teamed up with Fred Falkeit’s another level. “Intro” was the first track Alan released on his label Vulture in 2000. It was produced with Fred Falke and again was a smash hit in hometown France and Internationally.
Alan Braxe & Fred Falke – Intro
Classic. In a bit of a direction away from the French sounding house, Rubicon which was also produced alongside Fred Falke and has a more indy pop vibe to it. Still quality and another hit.
Alan Brax and Fred Falke – Rubicon (Original Cut)
This show is brought to you by Intimate Prodcutions and Fast Life. Schitz has the honor of helping promote the show and Hawke∑e gets to open which is dope.
This ones bonus.
Kelis – Bossy (Alan Braxe & Fred Faulke Earth Out Mix)
So the contest?? First 4 people in Vancouver to answer the following question wins.
Who does the music sound better with???
