Pigeons and Planes published a list on how to NOT get your music posted on blogs back in the summer of 2012. An article that 42ghosts should take a look at. Something the duo could learn a thing or two from.
Sort of met these guys at Fortune Sound Club in December, at the Death Grips show where introduction turned into a slap in the face, literally. And unless there were other masked dudes in chinatown shortly before doors, these dudes were getting down 2010 riot style on car(s). So ya, cool dudes, real class acts.
The aforementioned article is missing a couple of things that would benefit the ghosts if they were to read it (assuming they can read). One, don’t be rude/threaten whomever you want to post your music. That’s a good tip, more of a common sense thing really. Two, include SOME info about the content, the insult thing falls short peaking a persons interest. Three, if wearing masks is more about hiding your identity because your an asshole than directing peoples attention to the music, then your music will only take you so far.
