San Francisco’s Mike Relm is known for live shows that feature audio blends matched with video images, all manipulated in real time. The critically acclaimed video ”turntablist,” in his trademark suit and glasses, has toured with the Blue Man Group and performed during the Closing Ceremonies of the 2007 Pan Am Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Addictive TV has blazed a new trail in the art of audio/video remixing. The British duo’s live show has blown away audiences in over 50 countries, supporting acts such as the Chemical Brothers, Goldfrapp and Moby and earning the group two nods as the world’s best video performance artists according to DJ Magazine. The collective recently started officially remixing feature films, creating viral videos out of movies such as Iron Man and the Academy Award-winning Slumdog Millionaire.

DJ K-Tel (aka Technomorph)

K-Tel has been developing mad skills in Vancouver’s film industry: Sound Designing animation projects for CN, MTV and FOX working with Danny Antonucci and Gary Larson, and picture Editing with local legends Richard Martin, Greg Middleton and Bob Aschman. All while still Djing on the side for the last 24 years. Then one day local filmmaker / VJ legend Tony Pantages approached K-Tel about joining the Morpheus Project visual team…and Vancouver hasn’t been the same since.

As the technology has grown, more pixels and sound samples are able to be processed and Technomorph has been able to venture further down that technological rabbit hole, morphing and weaving all of his skills as Sound Designer / Editor / VJ and DJ together.

Le concert de la soirée d’ouverture de CODE en direct mettra en vedette deux des meilleurs artistes du monde des spectacles audiovisuels. Mike Relm, de San Francisco, est connu pour ses spectacles qui présentent un amalgame de mélanges audio et d’images vidéos manipulées en temps réel. Le « platiniste » vidéo loué par les critiques et toujours vêtu de son habit et de ses lunettes a été en tournée avec le Blue Man Group et a donné un spectacle à l’occasion de la cérémonie de clôture des Jeux panaméricains de 2007, à Rio de Janeiro.

Addictive TV est sorti des sentiers battus en ce qui concerne l’art du remixage audio/vidéo. Les spectacles du duo britannique ont impressionnés les foules de plus de 50 pays, tout en agrémentant les spectacles d’artistes comme les Chemical Brothers, Goldfrapp et Moby. De plus, DJ Magazine a qualifié le groupe de meilleurs artistes du monde en spectacles vidéo. Tout récemment, le duo a officiellement commencé à remixer des longs métrages afin de créer des vidéos virales à partir de films tels que Iron Man et Slumdog Millionaire (lauréat de plusieurs prix).
