GASLAND (www.gaslandthemovie.com) is a 2010 Sundance-award winning doc film that premiered on HBO this June, and continues to screen on HBO and at grassroots screenings across the country.
GASLAND has been seminal in generating social and political awareness of the dangers of the domestic natural gas drilling, and a type of drilling called hydraulic fracturing or “fracking” and educating the masses on how this affects our water.
FRACKING takes place in Canada as well- one of the largest natural gas companies resides in our own back yard.
This private screening can only seat 180 – please RSVP yes only if you can make it 100%. Questions from media will be taken post screening and sent to director Josh Fox who is currently in NYC.
