Ah the dark long haired boy on a milk white horse.  Was he an Indian? or a Mexican? Half Filipino from Anaheim? Whatever tribe he hailed from, from the minute I laid my 4 year old eyes on him, I knew I was in love.  Move over Astroboy.. there was in new man in Jody’s heart.

He endured so much.. on his never ending story… he lost his horse, drank fairy piss and almost got pulverized by giant angels, just to name a few… that was it, my mind was made up! No comparison was that little bitch Bastian, who was too serious and wimpy for the likes of this tomboy.  I was not into boys who drew dragons or knights in shining armor.. never the less pussies who drew fucking unicorns..

All eyes were on Atreyu until the middle of the third act and… BAM… There it was. Beauty unparalleled. Never. Seen. Anything. Like. Her.  Suddenly I had forgotten all about Atreyu and how he was lost in his innermost cave, and how he was on the verge of death, bringing down with him the entire universe to be sucked into a deep black whole of nothingness.. All was still… All was calm…. There she was. Say her name goddammit.

So there it was… My first homo experience. Be it an internal experience, it came from my introduction of lust sprung from an Empress and an Indian.. Who was I to choose?  It wasn’t until this weekend, when I found myself at some weaksauce hipster halloween party in Echo Park – As I sat gazing with one eye open through slews of Pabst Blue Ribbon, half naked Burlesque dancers and a dog in a pig costume.. I realized that I had found it.  My own little four year old manifestation – My Empress/Atreyu all in one and the girl that I get to sleep next to every night:
